Forestry summer camp. 5 weeks of trying of make it out of the woods alive.
Typical day starts at 8 in the morning. By 9 I am in the woods, up to my neck in thorns, briers, ticks and snakes. Then its till 10 at night writing reports that are due the next morning.
First day I managed to totally screw up a compass orienteering course, by a mile and half. Barely made it out by the time the sun went down. Walking through thorny brush that only a crazy person would attempt.
I am crazy, and I love my job.
Oh, did I mention the alligators and bears?
